The Arts Laboratory is an open space for researchers from the University of Tlemcen and beyond who wish to delve deeper into the arts and expand their knowledge. It also serves as a hub for Master's and PhD students specializing in arts research.

Arts research is a fertile field, and we believe that it still requires concerted efforts to enhance research in the arts in general, and Algerian art in particular.

This laboratory will be a valuable addition to the research system in the arts, through which we will strive to promote and develop Algerian artistic heritage.

The laboratory comprises five research teams that aim to cover as much research as possible in the arts. These teams are:

Team 1: Algerian Theater

Team 2: Visual Arts in Algeria

Team 3: Algerian Cinema

Team 4: Research in Algerian Music

Team 5: Art Criticism in Algeria

Each team is led by a faculty member with advanced degrees (Categories A and B), who conducts research in their respective fields. They are professors specializing in the arts. They supervise a number of researchers distributed across these groups.
